Some Common Questions

  • Minimum fee: $3,000 per year (flat); billed annually, quarterly, or monthly per your preference.

Advisory fees are tiered based on assets under management (AUM):

  • $0 - $225,000: Minimum Fee Applies
  • 1.30% on the next $225,000 - $500,000
  • 1.05% on the next $500,000 - $1,000,000
  • 0.90% on the next $1,000,000 - $5,000,000
  • 0.75% on the next $5,000,000 - $10,000,000
  • 0.60% on everything above $10,000,000+

Tiered fee example: fees are applied only to the assets in each tier (not a single blended rate); your effective overall fee will be the weighted average across tiers.

  • A fiduciary is a person or entity legally obligated to act in the best interests of another, with duties of loyalty and care and an obligation to avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Elevant Wealth adheres to a fiduciary standard for financial planning, investment advice, and planning recommendations.
  • When products are sold in a brokerage context through our affiliated broker dealer (e.g., commission based securities or annuities), those transactions are governed by a suitability standard.
  • This includes sales of fixed, indexed, and variable annuities when compensated by commission.
  • In all cases, we strive to act in our clients' best interests.

  • Staff obligations: employees sign confidentiality agreements and receive regular privacy/security training.

Anything that you feel comfortable bringing that can help us to understand where you are financially and what you would like to accomplish would be appropriate to bring to your first appointment.

This may include some or all of the following:

  • Recent copies of your financial account statements including all retirement, 401(k), pensions, investment/bank accounts and annuities.
  • Summary pages for all life insurance, disability income insurance and long-term care insurance currently in force.
  • Summary of benefits provided through your employer if you are an employee, or that you provide to your employees if you are a business owner.
  • Most recent 2 years of personal and business tax returns.
  • Recent Social Security benefit statement.
  • Most recently executed estate documents.
  • Most recently executed business planning documents including buy/sell agreements, operating agreements or succession planning agreements.
  • Major asset purchase details.
  • Any other information or documents that you feel would facilitate the conversation.
